A Possessed Weapon.
If a student chooses to major in shamanism, they will be learning what it means to be a shaman. Students will learn about their beliefs and practices, such as learning to communicate with the spiritual world, and perhaps ways to be safely possessed... if there really is one in the first place. (There is! But you must tread carefully...)
First year students will learn the proper ways to use methods of communicating with the deceased. Classes will be offered to aid in the ability properly summon spirits so that they do not turn on you, or take you over. Of course, students will begin studying the history, origin, and enigmas concerning ghosts.
There are proper ways for being possessed, of course, and failure can do so can result in gruesome ends much like in the movies.
